About This Website
This Website is
a laboratory,
a demonstration site,
my resume,
and the best way
to keep someone from grabbing davidjuth.com and saying
nasty things.
The very early versions of this site are lost. However, the dusty archives contain some of
the history of this site.
About Me and My Work
In May 2009, I became a
Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) in ASP.NET 2.0 web
application development.
I have worked as a software developer since
1990 and have built systems for large and small organizations,
in the public and private sector,
custom applications and shrink-wrapped software,
by myself and on small teams. I work for
FMS in Vienna, Virginia.
For a large portion of my career, I designed database-driven desktop applications. In the past eight
years, I have been focused on website and web application development.
I like it this way.
I strive to get as far
as I can with HTML, CSS and Javascript. I use
ASP.NET and SubSonic
quite a bit, as well as jQuery, AJAX and JSON for low-stress
usability.
